Looking outside you Beijing Fuao Hotel window, you will find one of the busiest streets in downtown Beijin, Wángfǔjǐng. The street was also formerly named Morrison Street in English, after the Australian journalist George Ernest Morrison. Wangfujing is also one of the oldest parts of Beijing, alongside Liulichang.
Wángfǔjǐng is one of the Beijing’s most famous shopping streets. It is the city’s most modern shopping area. Much of the roads are occupied with shoppers and stalls, where cars and motor vehicles are off-limits and it is not rare to see the entire street full of people.
